2015 Vancouver Island Motor Gathering

It is almost time for the third annual Vancouver Island Motor Gathering! This year’s event will take place on Sunday, August 16th from11:00am to 2:00pm at the Viscount Aero Centre located at 9800 McDonald Park Road in beautiful Sidney, BC.

In support of the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver, The David Foster Foundation and the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation.

We at the GAIN Dealer Group appreciate the work that goes into a vehicle. Whether it is a classic car, motorcycle or concept vehicle, it is more than just a mode of transportation; it is an experience, a memory, a hobby, and a piece of art. Thus, we wanted to organize an event to allow such motor enthusiasts to join together to appreciate such a collection.

The Vancouver Island Motor Gathering is a family event showcasing an array of classic, unique, modern, custom cars and motorcycles. In addition to the car show, there is fun for the whole family including children’s pedal cars, a jumpy castle obstacle course and entertainment for the young and young at heart. Feed your appetite with an amazing gourmet style BBQ courtesy of our catering partner, Chef Castro Boateng, refreshments and a concession bar featuring items such as cotton candy and popcorn!

A variety of awards will be handed out to car show participants to include such categories as: Most Original, Best Sports Car, Best Muscle Car, and Best of Show. Summer is the time for classic cars to showcase their beauty so what better way than to share this enjoyment with the community.

As the GAIN Dealer Group is the presenting sponsor and organizer of the Vancouver Island Motor Gathering, we set ourselves the goal to exceed the fundraising result from the year previous. Pebble Beach, Amelia Island and many other events of which are some of today’s best shows in the world, did not start off much different than what we are able to do today.

Our passion and our dedication to supporting our local charities will propel us this year and the future to raise more and more funds and allow owners of classic, collector and performance cars and motorcycles to display their precious collections at an event in our beautiful city that excites them and fosters their passion. In an effort to make 2015 even more successful than the last, we need your help! We hope you will help by attending the car show either by showing your vehicle or just having some fun with the family to appreciate some amazing vehicles and motorcycles. Afterall, we’re doing it all for our local benefactors that include the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island, the David Foster Foundation and the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation.

Please note 100% of all donations and funds raised goes directly to the charitites. GAIN – Vancouver Island’s Premier Dealer Group does not take any portion of these funds to operate the event.
